Story :
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji are two talented disciples of two different respectable clans. Wei Wuxian from the Jiang clan, Lan Wanji from the Lan clan. There is another clan also, known as the Wen clan, Nie clan, Jin clan.
Wei Wuxian is adopted by the Jiang Clan leader and he grew up with Jiang Chang and Jiang Yan Li. Lan Wanji has his old brother Lan Xi Cheng. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji meet during the cultivation training in the Cloud Recesses. Wei Wuxian knows as Wei Ying is a stubborn talkative person. Lan Wanji knows as Lan Zhan grew up with so many principles of the clan and he is a silent man. Their friendship starts with fighting because of the very first day Wei Wuxian violates the principle of the Lan clan.
They accidentally discover a secret of Yin Iron. One part of Yin Iron was found in Gusu. They travel together to collect the other parts of Yin Iron because of world peace. But Wen clan has one part of the Yin iron. Because of Yin Iron, there are a lot of things happen such as the Wen clan destroy by the other clans, the Jiang clan leader and his wife who was the uncle and aunty of Wei Wuxian was murdered, Jiang Cheng lost his Goldern core and Wei Wuxian transfer is Goldern core to Jiang Cheng. Wei Wuxian gets caught by Wen Chao who is the son of Wen clan leader. He sending Wei Ying to the Yiling because Wen Chao wants to see Wei Ying suffering. But after three months, Wei Ying back with a new spiritual tool named 'Stygian Tiger Amulet'. This spiritual tool powerful more than Yin iron. Because of this, all clan was won the battle against the Wen clan. But Wei Ying dies after a couple of months because of this spiritual tool and the misunderstanding. All the clans want it badly because of the power. Someone controlled it behind the Wei Ying known as Yi Ling Patriarch. Wei Ying disappointed about this and he wants to be free of this all.
There is another song called Jiang Yan Li theme song. It is talking about Wei Ying as A'xian, Jiang Cheng as A'Cheng, and Jiang Yan Li as A'Li time that was spent in Lotus Pier.
Sixteen years later, Wei Ying brought back to life through a self-sacrificing ritual using by Mo Xuanyu because he wants to take revenge for his relatives. In this scene, someone behind it known as Nie Huai Sang. At that time he got a new name, Mr. Know-Nothing. Wei Ying wears a mask and assumes the identity of his summoner. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying reunite very soon after that. They work together to solve the 'Stygian Tiger Amulet' problem what was the mysteries of the present and unravel the truth behind Wei Wuxian events that happened in the past. They catch the Jin Guang Yao known as Meng Yao who is the leader of the Jin clan as a trailer. Finally, Lan Wanji known as Han Guangjun takes the role of excellency after the world becomes peaceful.

Cast & Acting
Talking about the cast Xian Zhan was acting as Wei Ying, Wang Yibo Act as Lan Zhan. First of all, I have to tell you that these two guys are did a great job in this. I think no one is perfectly more than them. Yibo was the cold-hearted one in this drama and he carrying Wei Ying as Lan Zhan. Others also do amazing acts in the drama. Especially Paul Yu as Wen Ning, Qi Pei Xin as Jin Ling are new faces. But the are perfect.
Music
The main theme song was perfect. It was a duet of Xian Zhan and Wang Yibo. If you look at the song meaning, it talking whole drama series in ones. It was heart touched and the music was perfect.
