watashitachi wa douka shiteiru - Japanese Drama

 

This drama was released in 2020, one of the latest drama in Japan. This story on a novel called "Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru" by Natsumi Ando. If you start to watch this drama, it tries to grow up your curiosity about the story. This is a short drama series with 8 episodes.

Story :

Hanaoka Nao and Takatsuki Tsubaki are sweet artists. They met each other in Kogetsuan which is the traditional Japanese confectionery shop. Nao's mother also a sweet artist who works under the Tsubaki's father. Nao's mother is a single parent and they move to shop employee quarters when Nao in 5 years old. 6 years old Tsubaki gives a name to Nao as "Sakura". They love each other 💓and play together. One day Tsubaki's father was murdered by someone but Tsubaki frame Nao's mother for that murder. Since then Nao hates Tsubaki 💔. Nao kicks out and her mother passed away under there interrogation.

15 years later, Nao comes back to the Kogetsuan, because of a sweet competition. Tsubaki likes her creation and thinking mind. After that, he asks to marry her without realizing she is a childhood friend. Nao hides her true identity and enters Kogetsuan because she wants to know the truth of the master's murder. 

Great Grand Master who is the grand farther of Tsubaki tells that he not give Kogetsuan to Tsubaki because he is not the real heir of his bloodline. Tsubaki's mother tries to get the Kogetsuan ownership for Tsubaki. Many obstacles passing of this couple. Nao finally proves that her mother was innocent.  Then Nao gets the Kogetsuan under is ownership after the grand Master dead. Tsubaki and Nao try to protect each other hard.  Finally, they talk about their feeling to each other and agree to stay forever together. 

Cast & acting:

Hambe Minami acts as Nao, Yokohama Ryusei acts as Tsubaki. These two are amazing. Tsubaki's character was a cold arrogant man but inside he was always protecting their loved one. He is soo cute and handsome with is character. Nao's character was a fearless challengeable girl but inside she was suffering and fear of the red color. She is soo pretty and I love her smile.

Also talking about the negative role of the drama, in my vision, Tsubaki's mother is the villain. Mizuki Alisa acts as Takatusuki Kyoko who is the mother of Tsubaki's. She was great and always care about his son secretly. But as a fan, we can't see it until the end of the drama.

Taking about the background music, it grows a curiosity of our inside.  It is also very helpful to create a good connection between us. This drama created as a little bit older type. If you are a lover of Japanese drama, I recommended seeing this one.
